►THCI/TSSCI "Taiwan Humanities and Social Sciences Journal Evaluation and Core Journals List"
Journals that have been evaluated are classified in three tiers. Tiers one and two are included in the list of core journals. The THCI lists core journals in the humanities while the TSSCI lists core journals in the social sciences. Tier three journals include all non-core journals in the humanities and social sciences. TOAJ is a platform for Chinese-language academic journals that conform to NSTC's goal of promoting open access. he platform's goal lies in collecting high-quality and reviewed journal papers, providing a channel for the transmission and reuse of research and thereby increasing the exposure of Taiwan's academic outputs, enhancing the international influence. ►Master Journal List
You can search whether the journal is included in WOS series (SCIE, SSCI, AHCI, ESCI) by "title", "ISSN' and "keywords". To download Web of Science Core Collection lists you need to register a personal account (the account can be shared with Endenote) . The list includes the journal name, ISSN/eISSN, publisher name and address, language and category.
►SCOPUS (Licensed database)
Click to enter the "Sources" page, select "Subject Area" and choose one or more subjcts from the drop down menu then "apply". You must register an account to export the search results . The list includes journal name, CiteScore, ranking, and times citated, SNIP value, SJR value...etc.
►DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals)
Open Access Journal Guide to search for high-quality, peer-reviewed open access journals and articles. Journal information includes journal coverage topics, editor group, APCs fees, and authorization methods.…etc.
►List of journals included in major databases
Well-known databases such as PubMed, Ebscohost, Proquest ...etc. have standard criteria when selecting journals to their database collections. Thus, journals lists from these databases could be take as reference.
